Nigel Larkin recently visited the The Alfred Gillet Trust in Street, Somerset, to assess the condition of specimens within their collection
of historically and scientifically important fossil marine reptiles. Each specimen was examined and the conservation issues described.
Detailed notes were given on the remedial work that could be undertaken as well as making suggestions about the redisplay of the material.
A 15 page report of 4,500 words and dozens of images was submitted along with detailed costs of the work.
